My opinion is that NVA is just very lucky that the ‘centrumpartijen’ are not doing very well and that is winning them a lot of votes. What’s the alternative for people who don’t want to vote for the left side, and are done with the open VLD and cd&v’s inability to get something done here?

Each time the NVA goes “well the fleming wants X or Y”, with X usually being extremely conservative or selfish and Y borderline racist, I just go “well, I’m not a fleming because that’s the complete opposite of what I want.
The only thing the NVA is creating, is people disliking and hating flemish nationalism. They make me ashamed to be a fleming. I’ve got sympathy for the Scottish or Basque wishes of more self determination. But that’s because they are currently being ruled by “outsiders” that disregard the wishes of those regions. But in Belgium, the flemish are the majority, no one is oppressing them.
It’s not as if the Flemish government has proven so far they’re even a modicum of a more positive alternative either, on the contrary.

I know at least one place where they have their mayor requesting and launching domiciliation investigation. The police officer that executes, working for the mayor off course never finds the person at his home, closing the investigation as not living there and unable to determine new home. Then the people are scrapped from registers. Losing all rights as they don’t have an address anymore. Pensions stops payment, pro deo not possible etc. A nightmare for the victim. To request domiciliation again, local police then takes 2 month to conduct investigation again. Victim must stay home 24/7 to be sure to open the door.
