Edit: Sorry for the rant. Couldn’t contain myself.
Well, all I can say, is that people here are sick of this conflict going on and on for years now. Russian invasion of 2014 was not the first attempt, and *not even the first military* attempt.
They were constantly assaulting us from the fall of ussr in 91 pretty much, creating different harmful information campaigns and whatnot. Portraying us some kind of violent animals that need a big brother’s control over them in order to not kill each other, or just undermining anything they could.
The most recent attempt was encouraging and strengthening the anti-vaxx crowd with a wide array of different conspiracy theories and whatever. I especially like the (well known) 5G theory. Funny thing, though, we DON’T EVEN HAVE 5G HERE, for fucks sake. Oh, and I remember some antivaxxers waving a poster with QR codes, that lead to official United Russia website. Odd, huh…
I just don’t understand, what’s so good about recreating a forcefully “united” country, where everyone hates their “allies”? Even the original soviet had this issue, I can’t even imagine how it would work this time.
That war started at 2008 between Russia and Georgia and continued at 2014 on Eastern Ukraine. So all thoughs, doubts, ideas europeans currently ‘strugle’ with were solved earlier.
Maybe. Countries will have to militarize again.
They are in front 2-0,don’t make it 3-0.
Major European War = World War 3
it won`t. But causing mayhem on Poland’s border could do that. Interesting, that Putin started using hybrid warfare against NATO nations as well. This means he won`t ever stop even if Ukraine falls into his hands. Baltic countries are next.

Putin isn’t stupid. A major european war would be worse than WW2 and would result in the end of Russia.
There won’t be a major european war, european are cowards. If things escalate, putin will take whatever he wants and eu will sanction russia for a while. Then gonna sign another energy deal, just like now. Everybody is focused on Ukraine, the situation in north pole is ignored. Russia does whatever she wants, eu just talks.
This is such bollocks. All of Putin’s posturing is for a domestic market. He needs to look like a strongman to stay in power. Does anyone really think he’ll invade the rest of Ukraine? It’s highly unlikely – he’s not a complete idiot.
No it will not this is just big mouthing from Putin for internal poiltical use
tl;dr from the article:
>It is also vital to understand that Russian ambitions do not end with Ukraine. This is a dangerous misconception that fails to grasp the true scope of modern Russian revisionism. In reality, Putin seeks to demolish the entire rules-based world order established in the decades following WWII and consolidated since the collapse of the USSR.
>In its place, he dreams of a world divided into spheres of influence where major powers like Russia have a free hand to dictate to their weaker neighbors. Control over Ukraine is an important part of this vision, but it is only one element of a far more ambitious revisionist agenda.
so… a New World Order…
NATO aggressors
Not that Putin isnt a douche but consider the source, atlantic council is
basically the reserve bench for US secretary of state and related advisors.
Is this another “lets all shit on russia for a moment to make ourselves feel good” moment?
Because personally I have 0 interest in that.
Perhaps all of you should stop being an American lapdog for longer than 5 whole minutes.
What obsession? From all recent publications it seems Putin is the least obsessed person on that matter.
