2. Mt Fav Phil song, dunno if it’s because of the video, but it def affects me seeing him there not long before his death.

3. Phil Lynott was legendary, kinda one of those totally unique persons with a massive amount of talent, he was destined to be great. Apart from being an amazing lyricist and songwriter, he was pretty damn handy on bass and had this really cool, idiosyncratic sense of timing where he wouldn’t land on the beat but in and around it, making it groove. Thin Lizzy were the greatest band to come out of Ireland, the most talented musicians, always willing to take risks and played genres from hard rock and metal to prog.

4. This man had his troubles but by god he made up for them with his music!
