There has already been a 5 year long investigation into this by the RMP. They found no wrongdoing, there’s no new evidence to suggest new action is appropriate
The Aussie SAS had an independent enquiry. Anything less just means the Tories don’t care about the rule of law.
MoD investigating itself would be absurd. Given their amazing ability to not see evidence apparently.

The rules of warfare over there were such bollocks.
A member of the Taliban would fire fire a machine gun/ RPG and be classed as a combatant. As soon as he drops the weapon you couldn’t engage…
So what was happening is they would fire a RPG at us, drop the weapon to prevent retaliation and then send a child to pick the weapon up.
It was the same with the IED planters, we could only engage with the enemy when they were planting or holding a command device as soon as they finished covering the device with soil we couldn’t engage.
A team got in trouble after a ambush, were a informant told us the location of a IED, we stopped patrolling that route and team of path finders set up a ambush, which shot the guys as they dug it up to be moved. Under the rules of engagement they were “civilians” untill they had the IED in their hands..
We did a few raids of known Taliban strongholds, found weapons, explosives and Pakistani passports… Handed them over to the appropriate authorities and they had bribed themselves free within a week.
One guy that used to spot in a red honda motorcycle was arrested 4 times and got out every time.
So what I’m saying is Afghanistan wasn’t as clear cut as the episode or people on here with no experience of combat are making out….
