So yesterday I was camping next to lough Lugacolliwee and was woken up by this creature screaming at about 20m from my tent. This went on for a couple of minutes before it moved to another side and continued. After a third time it left. Needless to say it was difficult to sleep after that. I also think I heard some dog-like whimpering, so I’m guessing a fox maybe?
Sounds like a young fox
