Austria is just here making the headlines because of the lockdown and vaccination mandate. But their numbers are similar to others around it.
Only difference is that Austrian gov has a limit of 33% of intensive care beds being taken by covid patients, once that is reached country goes into lock down to bring down the numbers.
For comparison, other countries, eg Slovenia, just stop doing cancer and other operations and only/mostly do covid patients.
