On the one hand, I understand why it’s extraordinary and why we’re talking about it. On the other hand, it weirdly reassures me, because it’s not extraordinary in the least. This is precisely how nature is supposed to work, and but one of the myriads of consequences that human activity has on its course. It would be awkward if polar bears died out just because they couldn’t find enough seals, I mean, have you seen a freaking bear? Why should they care about… anything, really? They bears, they built for this.
Wonder if a reindeer is as good food for polar bears as seals. Seals are fat af, reindeer usually a lot leaner.
I’ve never seen a video taken from a person without Alzheimer, I fucking promise you.
