In fairness, the worst migration issues in Ireland have been caused by the Dutch
Ireland thought the Rwanda policy was ‘shocking’, though apparently only because it now means they are having to take an increased share of economic migrants..
given their PM’s moral indignation last week I’d have thought they would be only too pleased with this surge in arrivals
They think it’s shocking that the UK doesn’t want the hardship of taking on loads of migrants because… they are taking on the hardship of taking on loads of migrants. Seems a touch hypocritical.
This is great news, we could save a fortune, get rid of the Rwandan deal and just put up a load of massive ‘follow the diversion’ signs on boats with arrows all pointing to Ireland.
Obviously, a few, ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ , just for good measure and a ~~cones~~ migrant number to assist anyone a bit confused.
It’s a better plan, than anything out of the home office.
Seems like the Rwanda policy is working! Happy days!
What BS…
Red meat for Brexitards
Hahahah the UNHCR are on their back now as well for failing to house them properly. Ireland takes 0.4% of all asylum applications in the EU, they’ve been lucky avoiding the downsides of free movement for years now
But migrants are a good thing. Why is Ireland being racist?
Screams of ‘UK blaming EU for everything’.
Do we still have the special arrangement with Ireland that travel between the 2 countries are passport free, it was, before both were in the
EU. Irish people migrated in their millions to England, USA and other places, so only fair if the shoe is on the other foot
Unlucky. I don’t see how it’s the UKs problem though. The paddies are gonna have to see if the EU can help em out by taking these migrants back
Sounds kinda NIMBY.
Itchy feet on the virtuous open-door policy then.
Priti Patel is a scumbag and has no experience in security at all, I’m not sure why bozo thought that was smart getting her to be home office minister lol (dumbo) and Patel I hope she burns in hell.
The blame game. No one was ever going there. Diversion tactic.
