I fully believe that teaching lessons on this and other topics like consent in the young teenage years is the only way to curb the mistreatment of women in this country. Porn gives lads a fucked up perspective on what sex is and how to treat women, it’s so evident in this country that majority of lads especially teens have no idea how to treat women and just people in general.
Examples being lads getting turned down by a woman responding with nasty insults and aggression, revenge porn and sharing images with other lads, groups of lads jeering at women, the general rapey behaviour of lads in night clubs etc.
I hope the lessons delve into how many women are trafficked into porn. Gotta teach teens that consuming that content is largely based on the exploitation of women and how morally bankrupt consuming that content is.
They should really also teach teens about abusive relationships, there’s so much more we can do to improve the lives of everyone by starting early with this stuff rather than making everyone have to overcome obstacles by mostly sheer luck.

At least there’s not a practical.
There’ll be a master’s offered in it soon enough. I’m just annoyed cos it’s definitely a class I’d have been happy enough to get to grips with and put in the hard work that is required to pass. Could have changed my whole relationship with the education system if I’m being honest.
