Pizza scissors lads. They’re pure class.

  1. My last post was buried in downvotes, but I’m not sure how much of that was for the chicago town pizza or the scissors. I can’t see any downside to a pizza scissors though?

  2. All the uncultured swines down voting you into oblivion. Scissors is the best way to cut a pizza, keeps the crust fluffy and cuts whatever toppings cleanly . Pizza wheels are the American way. In italy they don’t bother cutting it for you, you eat it with a knife and fork, takeaways use either scissors or a proper pizza knife.

  3. My Italian partner introduced me to this and it’s life changing – pretty much all the Italians I know do it

  4. To all the haters here, the rolling pizza cutter is an American invention. Italians, by far, use scissors. Or a mezzaluna if you’re fancy

  5. My friend showed me this year’s ago his mother always did it and I laughed at first. One day couldn’t find the wheel so tried the scissors and have to say LIFE changing! It’s so much easier in my opinion and always tell everyone about it!

  6. I recently informed my friends that I use a kitchen scissors to cut my pizza and have been doing it for a good 10 years now I will never in my life go back to using the circle pizza cutter once you go the scissors way it is impossible to go back

  7. Wouldnt be a fan of using scissors on a pizza, if you have a nice airy and puffy crust scisors tend to squash it down before cutting it as the blades are thick. Whereas a pizza wheel is razor thin and you can also cut through it in one smooth and rapid motion so the crust doesnt get flattened. With scissors its more like three chops to get a slice whereas a wheel does it in one.

If its about not using a wheel on a countertop that might scratch then Ikea have cheap hard plastic chopping boards for 2 euro

  8. Finally! My family has been doing this for years (we’re Swedish) and every time I have a Swedish or foreign friend over they’re all giving me the stink eye. Sorry I am more efficient than you! This is the redemption I’ve been looking for, thank you.

  9. In Asia they usually have a scissors just for the kitchen for cutting food. They don’t like it when you use the household scissors to cut food. Makes sense.
