Buy an ice cream van and park up outside schools at lunchtime.
Think that was the idea of the sugar tax on fizzy drinks /s
Slow down there tubby. You’re not on the moon yet.
It’s not the children I am noticing, but the teenage and early 20 somethings. Especially the women. Not meaning to be harsh, but it’s true. There is a serious problem coming our way and I hope the health service is making plans now. (I think we all know they aren’t)
Hopefully future scrotes will be too fat to do any antisocial behaviour
Home Ec should be mandatory for all secondary students. They need to know how to feed themselves.
The amount of college students who can’t boil an egg is actually getting embarrassing.
We’ve been trending this way for a while.
I’m 35 and I’m fat. Fuckoff.
Sadly, it’s a form of negligence to have an obese child.
There should be less pussy footing around it.
People can’t blame not studying home economics, albeit a fantastic subject, cooking was only a small part of it, nutrition was a big part. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s wellbeing. I know they can’t control what happens at nana and grandas though. Treats are a constant now
I dont know any fat kids n Ireland
Time to build cycling infrastructure. Part of the reason kids are fat is that they’re sitting their plump little bottoms into the mammy’s car to be chauffeured to every activity.
The Greater Dublin Area Cycle Network was launched in 2013 and almost immediately dropped. It’s been re-launched this year, but it’s totally aspirational – not a sign of it being built.
Meanwhile, here’s Dutch kids going to school (and GAA or their equivalent, and to play with their buddies, and to explore their neighbourhood, and to cycle around just for the fun of it).
