Personally I wish the whole tory party would migrate to an island thats surrounded by sharks with only a day’s worth of supplies and no way to get back to the mainland…

They’ve been promising this since they were first elected 12 years ago, why would their voters expect this time for them to be telling the truth?
So which candidate will the people traffickers or their friends vote for. They could have a vote, if they joined the party before early June, even if not UK citizens or residents.

It’s like the greatest hits of Tory promises played on an endless loop; tax cuts, crack down on immigration and being horrid to the EU.
Tories have been cracking down on this for so long they must be approaching cracking up in Australia.
They’ve only had 12 years to sort out the issue.
I’m beginning to think immigration is like the war on drugs, they don’t actually want to solve the problem because what would their vote winning policy be then?

….. After a decade + of crackdowns, the party of Law and order have come up with a new cunning plan, of another crackdown.
They have been prioritising this for decades and yet still they come.
Truss is for rendition while Sunak will change the definition of asylum. Meanwhile, Facebook makes a fortune from people traffickers advertising their services on that platform.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that Conservative voters only really care about contributing less to society via taxes and kicking foreigners in the teeth with these two candidates “sales pitches”

If we stop exacerbating wars in so many countries
If we stop robbing counties keeping them poor
there would less migration.
Most people would prefer to stay at home, if its a safe home where they earn a living. I cannot imagine being so desperate that I would get into a little dingy to cross the channel/med.
