  1. FG’s youth wing does seem significantly more right wing than the party as a whole. FG’s natural bedfellows are more the likes of the CDU in Germany or even the PP in Spain but the Republicans in the US are more like the National Front in France or Vox in Spain

  2. Did they get a matching set of blue shirts so they can find each other in the crowd?

All the fascist yanks wear red so they will stand out.

  3. Yer man on the left and the guy second from right look like some kind of before and after advert for dying your beard. “Got a ginger beard? Tired of all the mockery and shaming? Try new Colormebeard, in a whole range of colours, but not ginger”!

  4. I actually recognise one of them, friend of my brother’s. I only ever got into an argument with him once politically and it was around Brexit. He thought Ireland should consider leaving as well as we trade with Britain so much. Weirdly, shortly before a really art-y friend was advocating the same thing in the pub. Both of them has since changed their minds.

But back to the guy in the picture he annoyed a bit when I would meet him out the odd time and the odd
time he started the discussion that was political, he had all his facts ready and he would hit you with them. I was never bothered to fight but I knew some of the stuff he spouted was wrong. When I did get into over Brexit with him I had done a bunch of reading at that stage so I was able to hit him with facts which caused him to back down so quick.

  5. The first guy with glasses on the left was kicked out of Young Fine Gael for being a bit Trump-y, no? Killian Foley Walsh is the name I think

  6. Any pictures from the cohort going to the Young Commies Convention? Is that on in Havana, Beijing, or Pyongyang this year?

  7. Good for them. Non issue. People are allowed to believe whatever they want and support or go to places about it.
