Hi. Today’s my 10th day in Germany. I was supposed to reside in Dortmund but due to some unlucky events I’m staying in a temporary residency in Köln. I learned about the 14 day limit for Anmeldung by translating [this page](https://www.stadt-koeln.de/service/produkte/00415/index.html) but I couldn’t understand if the 14 day limit is for entering the country or if it’s for moving to a new city.
If everything goes smoothly I’ll start living in Dortmund next week (after it’s been more than 14 days of moving to Germany). So what should I do? Should I try to register my current place or should I wait and register my place in Dortmund?
