I’d say nobody cares if one spends 9 hours per day in a garage for 350 Euros per month. They’re free to go elsewhere, do whatever they want and make whatever money they can make. It’s not like Cypriots are forcing the settlers to remain, you know.
I know so many settlers who had no connection to Cyprus and given free land of Greek Cypriots. Now they are driving luxury cars as they have liquidated the properties inherited from their Greek Cypriot grandfathers. I’m with Greek Cypriots. Once they pay the cost of the land they liquadeted to the actual owners, I think that would be a fair step for them to be part of Cyprus. Also they better feel like Cypriot not Turkish as so far their political views indicated that they still consider Turkeys interest over Cyprus. Otherwise they will stay as settlers for Greek Cypriots or gacos for Turkish Cypriots.
