Yall know that…this is nothing surprising – Armenians and Greeks have been close for at least the last 100 years, right?
I’m far more scared of our collapsing economy and the goblin in charge of the country than any joint military exercise – only Greece has a reputable military out of that trio and it’s a NATO member like Turkey, meaning that any war between the two would bring Uncle Sam into intervention anyhow. To act as if Turkey and Greece will start shelling each other any minute is not only inflammatory, it is not based on fact. Both Turkish and Greek nationalists are guilty of that.
It’s worthless to moan about a military exercise between three countries – one with barely any military, another that got its teeth kicked in only last year and the last one nearly on par with Turkey. We need to focus on the economy and repeat it until the AKP has no choice but to talk about it – the economy, the economy, the economy ad infinitum.
