Petition to save an old man’s dog

  1. *Strangers came down the road, walking, and she ran out on the road, and she nipped the person on the leg*

How very dare those strangers walk down a public road.

I’m a big dog fan, but you can’t have dogs biting people who walk past your house. You just can’t.

I haven’t seen any indication that the owner has done anything to rectify the situation. Has he put up a gate or restrained the dog? What if the woman walks past there regularly?

Instead of pulling at people’s heartstrings, maybe make some effort to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

  2. That stupid bitch is some Karen. That’s nothing but spiteful on her part. She’s entitled to recourse as the dog was wrong to bite her. He’s gone ahead and offered her financial recourse, which she’s refused. So her end goal is purely to deprive an octogenarian of some of the fleeting happiness in his life. Nice motive.

I would wish that something bigger bite the stupid cow next time but that would make me as vindictive as she is (OK, perhaps I do 😂).

  3. Of course no one wants to get bitten, but it’s not a Pitbull, if it’s a first time thing and was a single bite not a sustained attack, then it’s a bit much

  4. To the people saying “sure he’s offered to pay her medical bills”, maybe her motivation is to ensure it doesn’t happen to other people especially kids.

Yeah jack Russells are small but even a small dog could do some serious physical damage to a young kid (I’ve two under 6) but potentially even worse is if it does long term emotional damage like giving them a fear of dogs.

It’s hard to say how I would react in her situation, I definitely sympathize with his situation and I’d probably be satisfied if there was things put in place that the dog doesn’t get out anymore, but I honestly don’t know how I’d react if my kids were there or are usually there with me. I definitely don’t think it’s as simple as “she’s a vindictive old Karen”

Btw I’m a dog person, we have two, but they are literally never allowed out the front of the house other than for walks. We have a completely enclosed back garden to ensure this. The are both husky crosses so they are more liable to lick you death than bite.

  5. I don’t think his dog should be destroyed. But it’s ultimately his own fault for allowing it to be out unsupervised.

  6. Small dog bit her legs and now karen wants to put him down? Man that’s some twisted bullshit we got here

  7. Right. I have to be caerful on this so as not to dox myself or the woman. But there’s a lot more to this “nip” story than what is being said across social media, inclucing here with peoople calling her a Karen.

I’ve seen the bite. If fuckin huge. Pretty much well into the bone. The dog didn’t nip her, he fucking full on took a chunk out of her. If it was a child, there wouldn’t have been time for a petition as the dog would have been destroyed that evening.

She didn’t do anything to attract attention to the dog, never mind attacked by it. And she isn’t wanting the dog to be put down as a “fuck you” to the owner, or some karma against the dog, but because she doesn’t want the same thing to happen to anyone else.

And talk of doxxing, she was doxed online by one of these brave petition signing people, and has to now put up a defence of herself by similar uninformed idiots that read a tabloid headline that sounds like it was a very minor incident.

You know the saying, “there’s more to this that meets the eye”? Well, there is nothing more certain than that in this case.
