  2. I cringe that rte thought it was ok to have a leaders debate without any opposition. Pretending the silent partner who had a voting pact with the government was the main opposition is something you’d expect from some isolationist regime holding elections for appearance sake.

  6. I must say, at the time, and even now, I don’t see how this is such a gotcha moment. I’d say there is a serious amount of our politicians who have done drugs at some point in their lives.

  8. Love him or hate him I do believe Martin here. Not that I particularly believe his answer to be a positive one mind.

  19. I thought Micheal Martin came across as considerably smug and akin to an altar boy gloating – no body likes a goody goody especially when he’s a tattle tale to boot – part of Leo’s appeal is more in touch with youth culture than any of them and he told the truth.

    If anything i’m more likely to relate to a person who has at least dabbled in the most commonly utilized recreational drug in the country. Martin just coming across like a cleanshirt.
