Hi there! I’m currently travelling all across your amazing country, and along the way i’ve *accidentally* stocked up on a load of beers. However, i think i’ll ruin the beers with 2 weeks in 40c hot tent or car. So i’m planning to buy a 40L ish food cold box and keep it with cool with ice and water. However, i’m struggling to find a store that sells them, as my dutch, french and local knowledge is next to none. Where i’m from they are in every hardware store, but it doesnt seem to be the case here, at least the ones i’ve been in when passing by.

I’m driving from south of Liége to Chimay to between Brugge and Kortijk in two days. If there’s no other stores selling them i’ll take the 30 min detour to Metro and get one, but if anyone knew somewhere else selling them i’m all ears. 🙂 Thaaaanks

  1. There is an app called 2dehands, where you can buy one second handed if you want. Then you can search in your vicinity by searching for “koelbox”.

  3. AVA papier but they are super expensive depending on size. The big ones are nearly or above 100€

    You could also buy a big camping fridge / coolbox at decathlon. It’ll be more reusable. Or just drink the beer, it’s made for this purpose.
