I got a contract that meets the requirement of blue card. I was in Germany so I need to change my permit to blue card. I wrote the auslanderbehörde contact and so far everything was fine.
The person at auslanderbehörde says I submit your documents like contract, cv, diploma etc to system and now, we have to wait until BA’ll reply it. It took a month and still waiting. When I asked him, he says I cannot do anything we have to wait.

When I asked my contact he says idk, i always do this staff but no idea about it.
My question is that does anybody have same issue? How long does it takes to get? Because if they dont reply in 5 days my employee contract will be expired. So will I sign and send new one?

One thing I can guarantee is that they have zero care about your deadlines.
If you have applied for it, you must have received a receipt or a document saying that you applied on a certain date. While you wait for your blue card, which could take up to 6 weeks, your employer can use this receipt for their records. And as soon as you receive the card, you send a scan to HR. That’s how I did it
