Hello. We’re going down in a campervan (2001, recently purchased, unsure about status of the “Leisure” battery that i just heard is a thing). I was going to buy a power bank online but Amazon wont ship them either side of the border, that’s from .co.uk and .de

Are those power packs from Halfords a good solution?

https://www.halfords.ie/motoring/battery-maintenance/jump-starters/halfords-6-in-1-jump-starter-power-pack-654898.html

it says it charges smart phones but doesnt indicate how much charge it provides…

basically i’ve never taken a campervan before, am terrified of draining the batter or my phone dying so any suggestions welcomed thanks

  1. Just buy a big power bank. Or get a few smaller ones.

They also have phone charging stations at ATN that you just pay for an hour’s charge or whatever.

  2. That thing is overkill. Get a 20000mah power bank from Harvey Norman’s and it will last you the 3 days assuming you get to atn with a fully charged phone

  3. It’s not a bad shout if you think you’ll use it for the compressor or jump start options in future.

  4. I bought one and keep it in the back of my car always,. Never had to use it but seems to be good has a lot of things going for it !
