I like Revolut. But they really need to stop with this spam shite. I swear I’ve e gotten the same “just 7 days left!” message about 50 times now.

Ryanair are the worst fuckers for this. Shouldn’t be allowed to merge advertisement notifications and important ones into one setting
why not just turn off notifications? If anyone is sending me money they usually whatsapp or text me anyway, making revolut notifications are kind of obsolete (for me anyway)
Used to be €60. They’ve cheaped out
FUCKIN SAAAME! I think I got this today and Sunday and sometime last week as well. It’s beginning to take the piss a bit
Has anyone ever got payment for this. I had an account, recommended my wife, she joined and I never saw a payment. Didn’t try anyone else since.
They’ve been sending that for about 4 years now. Longest 7 days of my life.
I get the same, the perpetual ‘only seven days left’ cycle really didn’t help during the time loop of the lockdowns.
I’ve set my notifications for only crypto and money in- and outgoing. It’s more just in case anyone tries to take money from my account using a contactless card reader.
Surely you can report this as false advertising somewhere?
On most phones, you can limit notifications to “only nesessary” or something along those lines to stop this. The only notifications I get are transactions and when contact-less limit is approaching.
Click on Settings > Revolut > Revolut Notification Settings (it’s in blue, down the bottom)
I’ve all but payment notifications turned off
Been going on for 6 months by the looks of it
Just mute notifications
Yea they really spam the notifications and then email them to you also
Thanks for reminding me to block notifications from revolut.
That and an ad for a loan or some other tripe they’re pushing popping up just as you were about to confirm approval when adding money, etc. Then no way to get back in, so it declines. Takes me several goes to get anything done these days.
And my card constantly declines if I have to insert it, despite there being money in the account. So irritating, doesn’t even feel worth it anymore.
You can turn off marketing notifications in settings
If you search the Hub (right-most icon down the bottom) for “Notifications” it will give you the Privacy button as a result. Go there and turn off everything promotional.
FYI right now they’re giving out free crypto if you do the quiz in their crypto section. You can find the answers on Twitter. You can sell it on immediately and make a bit of dosh – I got twenty quid out of it. Not a crypto person at all personally but I’ll take free money.
It’s actually easy to control the messages that appear in Android – I assume also in Apple
This is why I don’t download apps unless I absolutely have to. Also can block all notifications from them which is nice.
