What is so sad about this is the way she seems to have been treated by all concerned. And then there seems to be story around PIP that could be repeated a thousand times…. a week. Cut off, and then reinstated on appeal that came too late for this poor girl. The DWP’s response is callous in its utter insincerity and blandness.

More fucking “lessons will be learned” = nobody will be held accountable bullshit
I am not surprised it is NELFT. I work for a Trust that works in partnership with them and these lot care more about bureaucracy and their bullshit processes than the patients they are meant to be providing care. How can you can leave patient who is extremely unwell to her own devices? Why didn’t they try to send around the community mental health team to do a welfare check? How is someone who obviously is treatment resistant outside a hospital?
