I have a radical suggestion, lets better fund the NHS, and yes, I’m happy to pay a little more tax if it genuinely improves services.
This is just a slap in the face. “We’ll give you a pay award but we’re gonna to make you pay for it.” It wouldn’t cost much for the government to find the cash to fund it as they always seem to find cash for their own projects that benefits them but not the rest of us, plebs.
Unnecessary and completely avoidable. Tax the tax dodging billionaires and billion £ companies, problem solved.
