Oh yeah. Back when the only problem with Ukraine was Greenpeace complaining that they were killing stray dogs before the event.
Hopefully in a decade or two we’ll be back to only having such problems in Europe.
I went to the Greece/Russia game while I was randomly in Warsaw ten years ago on a hitchhiking trip. Greece won the match in a 1-0 slog, but the important thing is that the crowd was great and fuck Russia forever.
