This just in: filthy thieves AND naive people live in/go to bumfuck nowhere.
Well van’t really blame the store.
He should have bought his items and then pick up the bike.
Dumb people getting abused by evil and sneaky people.
An estimated 100k bikes are stolen per year or 273 each day.
For people who think that HLN is a good measure for how often certain crimes happen, they must wonder where the other 272 articles are about those bike thefts today.
how the fuck is this worthy of an article lmao
what’s next, an article about a scoop of ice cream falling of the cone a little kid just bought?
No cameras anywhere in that store or parking?
Lol, minder…
Anyone else getting an ‘inside job’ vibe on this one?
Not saying it’s great that people steal, but this guy is an obvious moron.
Really not worth writing an article about the most avoidable bike theft of the decade….
I don’t get all the negative vibe here. One should be able to trust the safety in the store. Decathlon should have better procedures to avoid this kind of incidents.
However, I’ve noticed that it’s solved in the meantime. All good at the end.
