I have two of those right now, the one in the picture and the one with the neon colors.
Yeah, I’m posh me so I am.
I bought one of these the other day. Not for anything specific, I just seen it and had to have it.
I have since been underlining and making notes in a book I’m reading though. Is this pen all it takes to become a swot?
I think the first one I bought I was 30 and every single one my kids or partners stole. I’d get them a day or two. So I bought some for the office so I could categorize notes by color and my boss stole it.
Dunnes Stores supervisor pens: the system (at least back in the 1980’s when I worked in Dunnes) required different colours for signing off in the various sections for some reason, so all the supervisors and managers needed one of these.
I’ve about 20 of them after the lc this year, all with just the green remaining.
What about the fancy ones with 10 colours or more?
Impossible to hold in your hands for any length of time due to the thickness
They looked cool but were really shite to wrote with. The grip was too fat to be comfortable and the four cartridge things inside would rattle around too much. Also, there was an annoying “give” to the nib that made it wobble around when writing.
I was, and still am, very particular about my biros.
had one in my hand as i read lol
I popped into the bookies once or twice a week to steal a few of the small pens.

Look at you with your fancy biro.. Until someone stole it, I had a small pencil held together with cellotape
I have one of those on my desk
You never buy these, they just appear
When I first got one of those as a kid I felt like an absolute legend
13 year old always end up breaking it by trying to push two down at the same time because you’re a bollix
It’s a bic
Except it had a solid ball on top rather than a ring.
