I am a medical student in my 6th year in Riga, Latvia, about to graduate in Spring 2023. I checked the [https://www.helsedirektoratet.no/](https://www.helsedirektoratet.no/) and the authorization requirements as well as language requirements.
I love the country and the environment a lot and plan on working in Norway after I graduate.
I saw quite a few posts on this subreddit regarding the rules and moving procedure for a foreign medical doctor to Norway but most of them were quite old. Like these;

My main question is, has there been any major changes in the Norwegian medical recruitment system over the last few years and how difficult is it for a new medical graduate to get a spot in Norway currently (I don’t mind working in smaller cities and north of norway).
Any help regarding this topic is highly appreciated and most welcome. Thanks in advance.
