  1. >Greek authorities decided to suspend the operation of 4 schools because they did not meet the minimum required number of nine pupils. A total of 29 non-minority primary schools have also been closed for failing to meet the same standard.

    French Census of 1919:

    Western Thrace was ceded to the Entente in December 1919, after which many Bulgarians left the region, while many Greeks moved in. (…) At the time this census was conducted, a part of the Greek population of Ksanthi, who left massively the Ksanthi district after the Balkan wars (1913), returned.

    According to the Turkish researches the population of Western Thrace in 1923 was 191,699, of whom 129,120 (67%) were Turks/Muslims (also includes the Pomaks) and 33,910 (18%) were Greeks; the remaining 28,669 (15%) were mostly (Christian) Bulgarians, along with small numbers of Jews and Armenians (before the population exchange).

  2. > “The Muslim minority in Thrace numbers approximately 120,000 people. The Greek minority in Turkey does not exceed 3,000 people, while at the time of the Lausanne Treaty their numbers were equal. Regrettably for Turkey, the numbers speak their own undeniable truth about who respects and who implements the Lausanne Treaty,” he said.

    Οι πρόγονοι μας τι να πουν; Που σφαγιάστηκαν; Που κυνηγηθήκαν;

    Άντε παρατήστε μας ρε ξεφτιλισμένοι, που αναπαράγετε την Τουρκική προπαγάνδα.

    Πάτε στην Τουρκία να δείτε ποσό καλά θα περάσετε σαν Έλληνες.
