  1. My mum loves to send my son Beano comics, she collects a few and sends them off to us here in France every month or two.

This last envelope arrived today, she sent it on June 26th! Via Canada! It’s not like her handwriting was messy…

  2. I once got an invitation a month after the event because it had been missent to France. My friend must have thought I was some bullshitter when I said I never got it but I was vindicated when it finally arrived and I sent her a photo.

The weird thing is it was sent from Cork to Cork, it shouldn’t have left the country at all so I don’t know how it ended up in France.

  3. Not quite as mental, but I sent a package from NI to China with ParcelFarce (the correct way to spell it) on a 5-11 day service. 3 months later it arrived in…

    Japan. 🤦‍♂️

  4. This is concerning. There are a few Dublins in the world apart from the original, a Waterford on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas and at least couple of Donnybrooks in Australia. And that’s just off the top of my head. Our post is doomed to roam eternally…

  5. I think our local an post are brilliant in we live in a rural area, about 2 miles out of town, my daughter often orders online, but the address label often just gives her first name and the town or locality, she still gets it!! Town has a population of about 10k!!!

  6. St Pierre and Miquelon is a part of France on the East coast of Canada. Maybe they have a similar address to there?
