My uncle always tells the story of a break-in of his local pub in the ’70s. The burglars took a MASSIVE dump on the bar. It was owned by a quiet, unassuming mature lady who was giving her statement to the Gardaí. The sergeant awkwardly said oh sometimes they get nervous and relieve themselves… There was a short pause and she said, “either that, or he hadn’t had a shite in a week…”
