  1. I’ve heard them a couple of times, always around 5 AM and they go on for about an hour. Any idea what might be making them?

  2. I would say a wolf but the sound is very repetitive and each repeat sounds almost exactly the same as far as I can hear. If it was a wolf I would think the howls would differ. So my guess is that the sound is manmade. I’m not sure though. Would be awesome if it was a wolf but as far as I know no wolves have been located in the area of Sevenum (yet).

  3. I can ask a few colleagues working there. It sounds like a wolf but in my opinion it also sounds too repetitive. Every “howl” sounds exactly the same and the resting periodes between them is the same every time.

  4. My first reaction was also wolves, but the regularity of it is suspicious. The echo effect also reminds me of the air raid siren tests every month. It’s as if the same single howling sound is played through speakers from multiple locations that didn’t activate at quite the same time.

    It’s very strange.

  5. I just really live two streets from there. I wasnt home at the time but it could have been Toverland which plays loud tunes regularly. My best guess is is that some kids played wolve sounds over a speaker to scare everybody at the camping

  6. I was listening to this on repeat while reading the comments. Now it’s stuck in my head and I’ll have to go to sleep with the continuous howling
