Hey all, hope this is allowed here. This is Scott he’s a family friend that has been vacationing in Spain and we’ve lost contact with him a few days ago.
The last thing we heard he had a bag that was stolen from him that contained some needed medications and possibly his identification. His cell phone has since started going directly to voice-mail and we haven’t heard from him since. I know this is a really long shot but if anyone happens to have seen him we would love to know. The family has tried to reach out to the local authorities unfortunately the language barrier has been making that difficult thus far.

Your best bet is to find a bilingual person that can make the call for you, or to use some sort of translator.
This is a serious matter that must be adressed by the police and not by reddit.
Please let reddit people know when he is found.

I am so sorry to hear he got his bag stolen, seems spain is heading this into a sport or something, awful.
I really hope he is okey! Call the police, and also call the hospitals, you said he has medication, maybe he got sick and someone brought him to the hospital.

I hope he is well wherever he is, I dont think I’ve ever seen him but as other have said, reddit is not the place to go as we are not a lot, you should try twitter instead, it is easier to make things viral. Also I’d recommend contacting the police, good luck!!!
