Not so sure this will change much in the Belgian online market. We are very similar to NL with Bol.com and Coolblue having a very large marketshare. Amazon has lots of problems to reduce that in NL and I think it will be the same here.
amazon.com.be – Not a suspicious url at all…
Strangely enough amazon.be seems unreachable now. Perhaps they did manage to buy it.
Thanks i hate it
Booooooooo
As a Belgian living in England. Amazon is worse than bol and Coolblue in every single way. I hate it so much
That doesn’t seem necessay at all, but it’s fine with me as long as I can still order at amazon.fr, amazon.de and amazon.nl like I’m used to.
They might be interesting for the cheap-but-decent Amazon Basics items,. For everything else I’ll stick to webshops that don’t have a terrible user interface/experience.
Yeah no thx. Bezos has enough money. I’ll continue buying from belgian stores (protip, add site:.be to your Google searches. It’s by no means a good solution, sure you’ll miss a couple sites and some of the sites you get will just have a .be sure but not be belgian. But i have found it atleast makes it easier to find certain smaller eshops)
Ah yes, more shit companies just what we need
And amazon.de will continue to be cheaper for the exact same items coming from the exact same Amazon warehouse, just like with amazon.nl.
as long as i can still order from .de i don’t really care. feel like the .nl version is just a watered down version of that.

I will koop my chineese brol bij the local man ze!
how many bloody prime accounts will i need to get the stuff i want
I dealt with Amazon. NL once. It was a disaster.
I collect blurays and these were only found on Amazon. It was like finding a treasure trove and I ordered a whole bunch.
Even though I was on Amazon.nl, the blurays came from overseas and I had to pay port. Very high port. They also turned out to be region locked so useless to me.
I went back to see the listings if I had made this mistake but there was no way to tell where they came from or whether they were region locked. It’s just a gamble.
I thought I’m on the . NL website, this is a European product.
Off course being a monopoly, the only place that was selling these rare blurays, and the only way to support the movie makers, is to go through Amazon.
