My dear fellow swedish people. We found a few of these things in the swedish forest. What is this? What is it used for? Thanks for enlightening us!

It’s were we sacrifice salt to the moose emperor.
Most likely it’s a mineral lick. They put a big white block of salt and other things on top of the pole so the wild animals can lick it. I think it’s mainly used in the winter.
It’s a place to put food for wild life you want to hunt.
You place a “salt stone” (saltsten) there. For wild animals to lick.
Keeps the dead stem from rotting if water doesnt get into it.
Land mark the cap is too protect the end grain from wayer so it doesnt rot but the others might be rigrht that its for salt for wildlife
As a hunter this is 100% for salt stones.
Moose will come here and lick it which ensures more moose in the area.
Most likely if you walk around some more in the area you will find towers or spots where hunters sit and wait.
Oh it’s just a sacrificial moose altar, they are fine as long as you don’t go there during a ritual or destroy it
