Demir zegt zelf dat ze er niets over te zeggen heeft, over het Vreg. En dan wat na dat uitstel? Dan word het toch ingevoerd. Men hoopte vooral dat die stijgende energiekosten tijdelijk gingen zijn (herinner je nog dat ze vertelden dat dit hoogstens 1-2maand zou duren?).
Maar in Vreg/politici ogen is dat de enige oplossing om ons sterk verouderd elektriciteit netwerk niet te laten ineenstorten door ervoor te zorgen dat mensen veel meer gespreid hun elektriciteit aftappen.
Net als de verplichte invoering van elektrisch wagenpark, en tegelijkertijd de kerncentrales sluiten 🤔.
Ipv massaal te investeren in het sterker maken/capaciteit verhogen. Ik voorzie veel uitvallende zonnepanelen in de nabije toekomst
Als volledige nieuwe woonwijken met BEN woningen aangesloten worden op een oude straat.
Ging het capaciteitstarief niet ingevoerd worden op 1 juli? Weer beslist om later te beslissen.
Anyway het capaciteitstarief gaat vooral de kleine verbruiker (alleenstaanden en appartementsbewoners) treffen. Voor de grote verbruikers zou de boel heel wat goedkoper moeten worden. In deze tijden ligt dat electoraal moeilijk maar hadden we de oorlog in Oekraïne niet gehad dan was dit al lang door onze strot geramd.

I do have a problem with just adding costs based om some assumptions for people without digital meter. As if it’s my fault that the apartment that I rent doesn’t have a digital meter.
I’m already paying way too much because the vreg assumes I, a young single renting a small well isolated apartment, have the same usage profile as a family in a 40 year old free standing house.
I understand the need to change the system. The current day/night week/weekend system where you use as much power as you want whenever you want at a fixed cost per kWh is outdated in a world with variable renewable energy and distributed production.
Capacity tariff as it’s currently designed takes the highest 15 minute averaged power consumption **for the entire month**. This is ridiculous as it doesn’t reflect the primary cost of maintaining grid and local net stability at all. The load tends to be highest in the evening, while it is more readily available at noon (sometimes even with negative energy prices in the weekend) and at night (at least for now). The capacity tariff should be dynamic and reflect this, and definitely should not apply on a single peak for an entire month.
It is not fair that someone would have to pay through the nose for an entire month for a single 15 minute peak moment at noon, on a sunny summer weekend day, when all neighbors’ solar panels are injecting into the net. This is hardly taxing the local net at all, on the contrary, it’s keeping the energy within the same neighborhood and is hardly taxing the net at all.
The only logical way to deploy a true capacity tariff that represents the net stability is to deploy it as a cost based on variable hourly rates. Technically it is definitely possible to achieve with the digital energy meter as [Engie is already offering a formula based on dynamic hourly rates](https://www.engie.be/nl/professionals/dynamic-tarief/).
If that’s not deemed possible / too complex / not sufficiently profitable, the second fairest thing would be to at least calculate the capacity peak on 365 individual per-day levels instead of 12 per-month levels. Anything else is just a lousy cash grab and is absolutely not acceptable, especially not in times with historically expensive energy.
RIP mensen met 11,5 KW laadpaal.
Even naast het feit of ze juridisch een kans maakt of niet, de timing van deze invoering is nu wel hoogst ongelukkig. Op een moment dat er veel mensen met togenhoge facturen worden geconfronteerd…
Toch raar dat in Wallonie dit debat totaal niet leeft.
