
I’ve stumbled across an article on the apparent scam of JucyFields ([RTL Today – Fraudulent business?: Luxembourgers affected by medicinal cannabis investments after company vanishes](https://today.rtl.lu/news/luxembourg/a/1947200.html)) and I must say that, after reading the article, I’m dumbfounded seeing how you can apparently fly below the regulator’s radar and successfully advertise investments to 4,000 Luxembourgers That’s one in roughly 170 residents (or 6/1000). Don’t you need an authorisation from a regulator to even engage in marketing investments to physical persons? And why the f\*\*\* would you then talk to RTL when the investments turn out sour? You should be talking to a lawyer rn…

Since the “advertising” was never done by the company itself, rather just users posting on their socials and using word-of-mouth, I’m not sure that falls under any regulations. I’m not an expert though.
