Richard Ratcliffe spent so long being angry he forgot how to not be angry. God knows what kind of life his wife and kiddie have with him.
This is not to absolve Iran of anything, imprisoning innocent people to pressure another government is evil.
But the UK was paid money for tanks. We didn’t give all the tanks they paid for. Then refused to return the money for FORTY years. The argument about sanctions ignores the decades the sanctions were not in place. We really have no leg to stand on here.
