Why is “Walking on The Milky Way” (1996 song by OMD) being played everywhere everyday? Radio stations, supermarkets… Is it a recent Swiss meme or something?

3. Zürich’s Radio 1 have played it least once per day for the last few years. It’s not one of my favourite OMD tracks but you take what you can get.
