I read a different article
**The Seagull Times**
‘Out of control’ bipedal mammals ‘taking over’ north Dublin coastline.
They run this same story every year.
I’d be annoyed if I lived in Balbriggan too
Is ‘seagulls’ codespeak for ‘scrotes’?
Bastards running wild in Howth also. They were attacking us for eating chips (completely unprovoked, sitting down) and they ripped another boys roll from him recently….. literally zero fucks given
Has anybody tried talking to them, see why their demands are?
They seem to like chips. Offer them some chips.
Been hearing about this for years and they still haven’t taken over
The reason they’re on land in the first place is because their normal foodstock of fish is depleted, fewer fishing vessels throwing scraps overboard, and urban environments provide easy access to food through illegal dumping and poor waste management. Nothing is going to make a blind bit of difference in the short to medium term.
Louise O Riely was on Newstalk yesterday, suggesting that the gulls be encouraged on to the offshore islands with “bird boxes”. Apparently not bothered take the time to take a cursory glance at the Wikipedia page and learn that gulls don’t use nesting boxes…
I seen ye sparrin with a gull. Best leave em be. Bad luck to kill a seabird.
