Use of UK hotels for asylum seekers trebles despite Home Office promise

  1. This is what happens when you do not invest in purpose built centres.

Even then I am sure that the Guardian will just call them prisoners

  2. The figure for those in hotel accommodation for over a year was surprisingly low to me. It seems like we are managing to find houses for them reasonably quickly.

  3. Literally giving these people free homes ffs and people say they aren’t economic migrants! The Rwanda plan needs to happen NOW!

  4. THERES 600,000 EMPTY HOMES ACROSS THE FUCKING UK.

Please, please can people be made aware of this before they spout a load of shit on this with immigration this and immigration that. Blame the govt, it’s entirely their fault and nobody else’s.

  5. Economic migrants nothing more nothing less. People literally living and dying on the streets while we house these ponces. Boils my piss

  6. The National Asylum Seekers Support Service can’t win. If they use hotels the press accuses them of wasting money providing classy holidays for the the migrants. If they use council houses that annoys people for queue-jumping. If they use private lets it’s expensive and everyone things it’s council housing anyway. If they use old army barracks and camps they get accused of providing poor housing and rights problems.

What do people actually want? Send them back to the safe EU country they came from? The EU has a policy of allowing that and is moving toward making that the standard. We voted to leave that agreement though with Brexit.
