Can someone explain this?

  1. What is there to explain? Do some research and you will realize the nazi party didn’t invent any of their symbols, they only adopted others.

Even the swastika (omg I mentioned the S symbol) is actually a religious symbol.

It’s like saying the hooded costume used in the Catholic processions (in Malta and abroad) is bad and should be shamed because the KKK used a similar or same costume

  2. I hope you informed the shop about it. It’s a gross use of our beloved cross.

(edit: wtf is wrong with ppl?)

  3. Lol some manufacturer stitched the design lazily together thinking nobody would notice. The image isn’t even of a falcon, it’s an eagle.

It’s not the work of some random nazi, it’s the work of a lazy jackass.

  4. Nazi symbol is a Black Eagle is facing its Right wing

Maltese symbol is a White ‘Falcon’ is facing the Left wing.

However the symbol is an eagle not a falcon, easily identified by its beak, wing and body.

It seems to be some weird work of nonsense copying – its not racist, its just ignorant.

There is no such thing as a Maltese Falcon, it was a film or a book , can’t remember, there is a Maltese Firilla on a roundabout near Luqa, but thats about it.

  5. The artist definitely was lazy and stole the exact parteadler design from google, albeit head facing the other way, but who cares. Its just a case of laziness, not neo-nazi promotion

  6. That goes back to the time of the Order when Carlos V gave Malta to the Order as a fief. According to the story, the Order was to give one Maltese Falcon to the King of Spain / Sicily.
