Vriendje
Het is 7 voor half 7, goede morgen vriendje.
It’s 7 before half 7, good morning friend.
(When you translate vriendje, it translate to boyfriend. But it’s actualy similar like you would say lil friend.)
Not that it’s important but that’s most definitely not Flemish but Hollands.
He says “vriendje” which in this context could be translated like “(little) buddy” or something like that.
So…in french you have math when saying numbers…(takes a big breath)… quatre-vingt-dix-neuf!
In dutch, they have the hours (it’s 7 for for half “for” 7) plus numbers are freaking inverted.
I don’t know any German to complain about but I bet it has some number shananigans going on too.
We move to Belgium and start to learn languages, what fun! But brain does not compute and people look at you like you’re an idiot when you struggle with numbers and hours.
~cries in portuguese~
He says it is 6:23 goodmorning friend
I hate this 7 before half 7 bullshit
“Goedemorgen pintje”
It says vriendje, wich translates to friend, buddy, pal
There is no Flemish voice of Mickey Mouse and there has never been one.
Disney is very, very strict about Mickey Mouse voices. The new voice-actor has to sound exactly like the previous one (mind you: not exactly like the American voice, exactly like the previous Dutch voice). There have been 5 Dutch voice-actors now and they all sound the same.
Mickey Mouse voices tend to be opera singers with naturally low voices, but who can also go very high.
Just need that “HO HO!” STILL
Is this a application or something from a brand smartphones?
“Vriendje” which is the diminutive of the word “Friend”.
Just wanted to say I hate that way of saying the time. ‘It is seven before half seven’. Then you need tot ‘decode’ that. – So it is 6:23. Or 18:23, could it be also. – My Google Home Assistant always says the time in that cryptic way.
