Check 2dehands.be for value, but I don’t think they’re that valuable. Keep them as a souvenir.

  2. if some day time travel exists & by so random luck we still walk this Earth, you could go back in time & barely get anything for that. so no

  3. Gresham’s law. Don’t look at nominal value of coins look at the metal value of coins. Maybe check out numastic.com

  4. I have some big ass silver coins, depicting all Belgian kings until Boudewijn. Got them as an inheritance, grampa put them specifically in my name. Went to a antique shop with them for taxation once. Turns out they were printed by banks way back as an investment opportunity, and so pretty common since quiet alot of people got them. They are basically worthless beyond their worth in silver, in any case worth a lot less than what they costed to gramps (minting, artwork, commission).

Long story short: most of these special coins are pretty scammy, to trick gullible people into making emotional investments. Keep it to remember your loved ones who bought it, in that way it is not worthless.

  5. These where old commemorative coins of Belgian Independance. they actually have the value of the amount on them. The problem is these days Old Coins in BEF are no longer accepted by banks.

Technically to collectors they do have worth, but these are in no mint or near mint state so the actuall value might vary!

  6. The 500fr ones can be worth something, there are 2 batches, one in silver, one only coated. The coated ones are worth 5-8€. The full silver ones are worth more.
