As far as I see it, the problem with Sunak in the eyes of the Tory membership is that he talks about the economy more than he does about Trans rights.

I don’t like him but they’re trying to pose him as left wing because he’s not planning on cutting taxes without having a way of funding the tax cuts. The reason why is he’s the only candidate who’s actually educated and experienced in dealing with finances.
He’s a fucking billionaire. He didn’t get there by not knowing how to make wise financial decisions.
It’s not about him being more woke. Caring about public infrastructure investment. Or being a bit soft on low income people because he’s brown.
He’s just the only person who actually cares about fiscal responsibility.
