What an honourable family the Saxe-Coburg-Gothas are
I wonder how many favours £2.5m gets you from britains most shamelessly purchaseable, politically interfering, royal.
I’m sure we’re all terribly surprised nothing was done…surprised!
remember this the next time you flag shaggers get salty about someone choosing to not sing the “national anthem”.
Clarence House said donations from the sheikh were passed immediately to one of the prince’s charities and all the correct processes were followed.
There is no suggestion the payments were illegal
Is that what it looks like? Money laundering? Nah. Nooooo. He’s a good chap!
Easy. Corruption so cheap
And people say rich people do philanthropy because they are nice..
You don’t become a multi-billionaire by being ‘nice’, same way you don’t own tons of art because it’s “nice”, you do it because it gives you tax breaks.
Golly how convenient
Anyway just thought I’d pop in and ask you about checkbook journalism? Seems to really touch a nerve for you.
That being said, it was a cash donation to a charity. One prince’s flex is another’s charitable donation.
