I think daft should be held responsible for advertising places that don’t meet the minimum standards for rentals or planning permission etc. If Airbnb are going to have to do checks so should daft. They already take down ads that don’t meet equality legislation for example ask for a work reference, so monitoring if places meet the minimum standards etc should also be possible.

These prices are awful. Comparable to NYC or San Francisco.
