The Jean Pierre lidl garlic bread was the best there ever was, dirt cheap and outrageously garlicy. Trying to accept its now gone for good. Any new breads I try are pure shite. Help me plz
Much better off making your own. Its just decent butter, minced garlic and parsley. Can adjust it to your own taste and its much nicer than the frozen ones, they’re always very salty
Down to Tesco 34c
Tesco brand…
I never liked any of those chilled or frozen convenience garlic breads you bang in the oven. I always found they had an artificial garlic flavour and often had a weird fishy tasting margarine instead of real butter.
If you can’t be arsed squashing a garlic clove through a garlic press into some softened butter, just buy the tubes of ready made garlic paste! And garlic bread is way nicer grilled than baked.
What’s worth trying is making toast and rubbing a raw garlic clove all over it. Not as creamy but it’s spicy and so easy to make.
