  1. “Świat według kiepskich”, it’s like “Married… with Children” was made in Poland.

  2. OOOOH I remember they show it in Ukraine don’t know if it was funny or just our translation but as kid I liked it

  3. This show has been on tv almost as long as The Simpsons.

  4. although i enjoyed ugly betty, brzydula had its quirks too.

  5. Also what episode is this? If you dont know at least tell me the year or something.

  6. Świat według kiepskich. Sad but a lot of the actors in the serial have died. A classic for sure

  7. If it weren’t for the subtitles I would think this was a joke post, this show is called “Świat według Kiepskich” (literal translation: World according to Kiepskich- Kiepski is used as the last name of the main characters but it’s also an adjective meaning bad/low quality)

It was (and still kind of is) a very popular tv show, being one of the staples of polish television and to this day having some heavy cultural impact. I don’t think I know anyone polish that never watched this show at least once. In recent years the show fell quite a bit with less and less people watching television and the deaths of some iconic actors, finally coming to a stop some time ago

    Synopsis:
“The series presents the peculiar adventures of Ferdynand Kiepski (Andrzej Grabowski), his family and neighbors. The main character is an extraordinary figure, a total laziness and an incorrect combinator in eternal financial troubles, however, endowed with extraordinary invention, prompting him to more and more original ventures. Since 1999, Polsat viewers have been following events that – as Ferdynand Kiepski says – “even physiologists never dreamed of”. Ferdek was pregnant with an alien, he built a perpetual motion machine, sent his mother-in-law into space, liquefied stupidity, raised virtual pigs at home, cloned his wife at home … And more!”
