Hey! I’m visiting Cyprus for the first time with some friends and we want to visit one of my friend’s grandmother’s homes in Limassol but we are staying in Protaras. We are not sure how to get there but based on our visit, we would like to go on saturday. I tried looking at [visitcyprus.com](https://visitcyprus.com) but was confused. If anyone could help with how to get to Limassol, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Unless you are renting a car or taking a taxi, I think Intercity busses (just google Intercity busses cyprus) are your main option here. Taking your own car will take probably less than 1.5 hours but the public bus including transiting in Larnaca will take closer to 3 hours.

So first you take the bus to Larnaca (Foinikoudes/Marina) and from there the bus to Limassol. Check in advance on the website where the busses are stopping in Limassol, so that unless you want it, you don’t need to go until the final stop in Limassol New Harbour. On going back, it might be better to start the journey closer to the terminus station (New Harbour) as sometimes the busses fill up completely and once that is the case, the bus driver will not stop at the following stops to pick up any more passengers.
